Trip to San Diego is just as fun as being there.

My flight wasn't as "adventurous" as my friend Jen's is. Then again, things that happen to her don't usually happen to normal people, and she's extraordinary.

I sat next to this lady that was reading "The Shack." She's at the beginning of the book, so I had to try REALLY hard not to give away my favorite scenes! She's on her way to see her son graduate from Marine boot camp, and hasn't seen him since he left over 3 months ago. Just listening to her, and seeing how excited she is going to see her son, I started picturing her running onto the marching field to hug and smooch her "boy", and maybe give a squeeze to his cheeks. To all my military family and friends, did your mom embarrass you on the marching field when she saw you? :-)

For 13 weeks, the military have trained and molded these boys to fighting men, and then in one day Mom can tear that down to her baby boy again. The final and ultimate test to see if the training stuck.

That's just righteous!

Wuddup cuz!!! Sad to know your trip back home came and went. Sorry I didn't get to see you, but glad you got to spend some time with my mom and Guitar Hero it up! We've been talking about a Texas trip though, and hopefully sooner than later, and austin is a must, so hopefully we can chill and you can shoe us the ropes in that place. Anyhoo, a bit about the shack, I loved it! Ok that's my bit, but glad to hear you read it as well. My last book was Samson and the Pirate Monks, by Nate Larkin, though a good read, it is geared toward men's accountability, yet interesting none the less. I have about five books I'm trying to juggle now, and haven't successfully tackled any of them, but hopefully I'll ground myself in one soon.

I hope all is wekk for you out there, and I pray God continues to use you where you dwell, and hope where that is your dwelling occurs is where He wants you. I started dialogue with my dad again, and hopefully that grows, but overall God has been such an amazement in my life, and he has been blessing me left and right through friends and family, so I have no worries, even in my financial crunch. Please keep me in your prayers, that God will continue to use me and purpose me for great things, as well has continue to mold me for my future as a serving man of God, and hopefully as a successful Pastor! I'll be praying for you too cuz! Ha, this is a long reply but it's not that often, so love it!

Love you man, see you sooner than later I hope!

God Bless you!
James
